Our History

Windsor Lifeline Outreach (WLO) has a rich history rooted in a deep commitment to serving our community. Established in 2003 , our organization emerged as a response to the pressing issue of food insecurity faced by individuals and families in our region. From our humble beginnings, operating out of a small space with a handful of dedicated volunteers, we have grown into a vital force in the fight against hunger.

Over the years, WLO has continually adapted to the changing needs of our community. We have expanded our reach, developed close relationships with local businesses and organizations, and implemented innovative programs to ensure that we can provide not just food, but clothing, nutrition and support to those in need. Our journey is marked by the tireless efforts of countless volunteers, the generosity of donors, and the unwavering dedication of our staff.

As we reflect on our history, we are proud of the milestones we’ve achieved and the lives we’ve touched. Yet, we also recognize that the work is far from over. With a firm foundation built on compassion and community engagement, Windsor Lifeline Outreach remains steadfast in its mission to eradicate hunger and create a future where everyone has access to the nourishment they need for a healthier, more fulfilling life.

About Us

WLO is dedicated to serving our community through food, hope, and the love of Jesus. This enables us to support, encourage, and show compassion to those in need.

James 2:14-17
ESV

Faith Without Works Is Dead
14 What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? 17 So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Community Partners

At WLO we would not be able to do what we do without the support from our community partners, such as Morton Food Services. They have an amazing team and support WLO with items such as clothing, education, and of course, access to much-needed food. Watch the video to learn more about our partnership.
