WLO requires the following information when you come in to register.
You will need government issued picture identification such as; driver’s licence, passport Immigration document or photo card.
One piece of identification with proof of address such as utility bill or drivers licence
Proof of income such as Ontario works, disability, income tax statement, CPP and OAS (We need to determine if individual qualifies for food bank assistance.
Government issued identification for each dependant living in the household.
Once fully registered the you will be successfully linked in the system and issued a WLO client card with ID number. This number will give you or any member linked in the household access to any of the Windsor Essex Food Bank locations.
You are able to access the WLO food bank twice a month one week apart, preferably alternating the weeks. If you choose to use another food bank, this will count as a visit. You are permitted one visit a month to the WLO clothing department.
